My husband, Alan, and I are getting on a plane today for a 12 day trip to Israel. The trip was a gift and I could not be more excited.
Some have asked me what I am most looking forward to. I have to admit that I am have opposing responses to this. On one hand, I have no expectations, because I have never been and I really don’t have any idea what to expect. On the other hand, I expect that I will be completely overwhelmed with the fact that I am in the land where Jesus actually lived. I think my brain just shuts down in the expectation of all that could happen as I walk where He walked.
