I have one last set of pics to share from our trip to the Dominican Republic. The last couple of days of our trip (before the boys and I left), we were able to stay at a resort on the north coast of the DR in Cabarete. Because our friends were friends of the resort managers we were able to get an amazingly low price at an incredibly beautiful resort. Enjoy!

I know this is a silly way to begin this post - but I have NEVER seen a sign like this before. These were priority parking spaces for pregnant women. I wish we had these in the U.S. when I was pregnant.

This is Christopher's new favorite drink. Too bad we can't buy it here.

This is part of the outdoor lobby at the Coconut Palms Resort. I just loved the colors!

Loved this picture hanging on the wall in our room.

Christopher learned to surf while we were there. His teacher had just moved to the DR from Argentina. He spoke just enough English to communicate with Chris. Very cool.

This is Anderson, the youngest brother in the Luna family. He learned to surf as well.

These next few are on Sosua Beach. It is a beautiful cove with lots of shops and food. Really cool vibe.

Another random pic. Someone must have had this as a snack the night before. It was just sitting there on the side of the path.

Couldn't resist this young man picking coconuts.

And here is his buddy "catching" the coconuts.

Can you imagine having this walk home from school every day?

This is parrot fish. It was so flavorful. They had just caught it in the cove that morning...talk about fresh.

We went back to Sosua the next morning so the guys could snorkel, however, the ocean current did not cooperate. The water was so choppy they couldn't get out to the reef. Oh well, we tried.
